ORGANIC ASSISTING
12 YA CEUs TBA Join Rebecca, for a three day immersion to explore a new perspective on body alignment and hands-on adjustments. Learn how to assess the body before you as an individual. What does this person need? How can I support them? How can I bring them deeper into their practice? Hands on assisting is an integral part of a students learning experience but it is also one of the most challenging parts of being a yoga teacher... If you are looking to incorporate more hands-on in your classes you have found your workshop. New teachers and advanced teachers alike are welcome. Organic Assisting will give you new go-to techniques to teach you when to assist and how to personalize your hands-on to avoid cookie cutter alignment. No two bodies are the same - but every body before you has a pelvis, rib cage, shoulders, etc. When each part is incorporated to your map of the whole yogi uniquely, you will see where the opportunity to assist lives and how to deliver your hands-on with ease. We will also cover the power of touch, supportive language, and krama alignment cueing. This is a Teaching Methodology (TM) Workshop and counts as 12 Continued Education Units (CEU) with YA. |
